Kurt & Dawn Phillips
Founding Directors
Kurt and Dawn have been working with cars for more than 35 years and took over V-Dub Repairs & Spares in 1990 at just 19 years old. With a passion for Volkswagens and a natural talent for mechanical work, he has grown the business from a small local workshop into the trusted name it is today.
As the owner, they still enjoys getting hands-on in the workshop while also guiding the team with their wealth of knowledge and experience. Their dedication to honest service and quality workmanship has built long-standing relationships with customers, many of whom have been bringing their cars to V-Dub Repairs & Spares for decades.
Cody Stals
Head Mechanic
Cody has been part of the V-Dub Repairs & Spares team for over 12 years and is now our Head Mechanic. With a wealth of knowledge across all aspects of automotive repair, Cody oversees the workshop and ensures every job is carried out to the highest standard.
A true car enthusiast, Cody’s passion extends well beyond the workplace. He brings that same enthusiasm and attention to detail into his role every day, leading the team with skill, patience and a genuine love for keeping cars running at their best.
Damien Sinon
Mechanic
Damien has been part of the V-Dub Repairs & Spares team for over four years and brings strong expertise in European vehicles. Before joining us, he gained valuable experience working at a Volkswagen dealership, which gave him deep insight into the brand’s standards and requirements.
With excellent technical knowledge and a keen eye for detail, Damien takes pride in delivering high-quality workmanship on every vehicle he services. His background and hands-on experience make him a trusted member of the team and a great resource for both colleagues and customers.
Liam Kennedy
Mechanic
Liam has been part of the V-Dub Repairs & Spares team for over three years and has developed strong expertise across both classic and modern Volkswagens. From older models that require extra care to the latest vehicles with advanced systems, Liam brings the right balance of knowledge and hands-on skill.
He has a genuine passion for working on Volkswagens of all ages and enjoys the variety that comes with each job. Liam’s approachable nature and attention to detail make him a valued member of the team and a mechanic that customers can trust with their vehicles.
Luke Pitman
Apprentice Mechanic
Luke has been with V-Dub Repairs & Spares throughout his apprenticeship and is quickly building a strong foundation in both mechanical skills and customer service. He’s already shown a natural ability to diagnose and repair vehicles, with a particular enthusiasm for learning from the team’s many years of experience.
Friendly and approachable, Luke is just as comfortable talking with customers as he is working under the bonnet. His commitment to developing his craft and his genuine interest in cars make him a valued and promising member of the workshop team.
Aurorah Burling-Willett
Customer Service Officer
Aurorah is the newest addition to the V-Dub Repairs & Spares team and is the friendly face you’ll meet at our front desk. As our Customer Service Officer, she’s the first point of contact for bookings, enquiries and updates, making sure everything runs smoothly from start to finish.
With a warm and approachable nature, Aurorah is excellent with customers and always ready to help with any questions. Her focus on clear communication and genuine care ensures every customer feels welcome and supported the moment they walk through our doors.
